Thus Coffee – Charming cafe at Upper Thomson

Thus Coffee is a charming cafe at Upper Thomson located within the Sembawang Hills Estate neighborhood. This chic cafe instantly transported me into a slow-paced life vibe. There is ample greenery in this area with beautiful parks. Their belief in the down-to-earth approach shines through in their menu and customer service.

The calming atmosphere at Thus Coffee makes it ideal if you want to escape the noise and lock in some solid focus time. This chic cafe offers soups, salads, sandwiches, small bites, sweet treats and beverages on their menu. There are vegetarian options in each of these categories.

The grilled cheese sandwich is a blend of Gruyere, Emmental, Cheddar and American cheese, grilled to perfection on a pullman loaf. Additionally, the cafe serves this sandwich with a side of tomato soup. The bread has a golden and crisp exterior, making it a nice comfort food for brunch and rainy afternoons. Basically if you are looking for the cheese pull effect, look no further!

In case you require something shareable, then the shoestring fries are good to order. They offer a generous portion size of fries with a light golden hue and tossed uniformly in salt.

The coffee beans at Thus Coffee are roasted in-house and the quality can be felt in their espresso-based drinks. The Iced Mocha is smooth and balanced and there are natural chocolatey notes in their beans that I enjoyed. Recommended.

The pumpkin soup on their menu is vegetarian which can be ordered à la carte. Their desserts did look tempting but I had no space left to try them.
