Alt. Pizza – Suntec City Tower 4

Opened at Suntec Tower 4 is this chic and cool place called Alt. Pizza which is bound to catch attention thanks to its “different” quotient. When I visited the place on a Friday evening, it looked like a party was set to begin. Inside the restaurant, the decor was eclectic – I even spotted some quirky Bruce Lee hoardings. If I looked outside, I could see the cab stand and watch the cabs whiz by. A perfect dine-in restaurant where you can relax in spite of the world rushing by in front of you. That’s how my evening began…

On the menu, they have appetizers, signature pizzas and DIY pizzas. The ‘build-your-own’ pizza is an interesting addition as it allows you to choose toppings and sauce of your liking. A menu with smart captions always works for me and they had rightly called it ‘Frills with Thrills’. As a vegetarian, it was like a breath of fresh air to see varied offerings on their menu for pizza toppings. There is a form placed on the table where you can tick in your order and it will be collected from you.

The Orders
We decided to stick to the signature pizzas as it was our first outing to this place. We ordered the ‘Garth Fader’ pizza as we were intrigued by its description. It is topped with red pepper cream sauce, mozzarella, smoked cheddar, toasted pine nuts, roasted onion, artichoke hearts and cherry tomato. The thin crust pizza was delicious – and right from our first bite we knew that our meal was going to be a happy meal.
